CREATING OPPORTUNITY FOR EMPLOYEES AND THE COMPANY TO GIVE BACK

Enerco Group Inc. is proud to be a part of the community of Cleveland, Ohio. We strive to find ways to be involved and create opportunities above and beyond standard employment. Over the years, we have welcomed interns from Trinity High School, participated in Giving Trees, walked the Susan G. Komen event, and many others. Our favorite events are those brought to us by our employees. We enjoy supporting what they are passionate about outside of the office.

TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL

Servant Leaders. Critical Thinkers. Life-Long Learners.

Trinity High School is a coeducational, Catholic school with a vibrant community of faith and learning, an innovative block schedule, unmatched emphasis on technology, and a focus where it belongs: on students and their success.

In addition to their work in the classroom, Trinity students in grades ten, eleven, and twelve have the opportunity to use the tools they have acquired in an expanded network of learning. Students receive a thorough academic preparation for college that includes professional internships and workplace experiences.

Enerco Group Inc. partners with Trinity, providing multiple opportunities each year for students in their Pre-Professional Intership Program. Students have the chance to participate within multiple departments, such as Engineering, Graphics, Marketing, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Accounting.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Enerco family endeavors to be involved. We welcome and encourage our team to find opportunities within Cleveland or their own communities by offering Volunteer Time Off (VTO). Run in the Susan G. Komen, cook at the Ronald McDonald House, help organize our annual giving tree, or become spend time at your local food bank... there are so many options. And if it allows it, we will happily work to gather a group of volunteers consisting of coworkers, friends, and family. Giving is always more fun with family, whether related or "adopted".

Team Members may submit ideas with event details to Human Resources for approval. The event is then approved and advertised to the company.

CHARITIES

Through our employees, our senior leadership, and our ambassadors, we have partnered with multiple groups to host annual giving events. Enerco has sponsored tables and prizes for events and held "giving months" where we donate a percent of web sales.

TOYS FOR TOTS

The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. The primary goal of Marine Toys for Tots is, through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children. In order to better execute the Program, in 1991 the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation was created at the behest of the Marine Corps.

As recent as the Christmas 2021, Enerco Group Inc. has created the opportunity for our employees to participate in Toys for Tots by hosting a "giving box". Our coworkers surpassed expectations and filled two full boxes and beyond. We enjoy the ability to bring the Toys for Tots charity in house to make donations easier to engage in for our team members.

ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

The Mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

More than 70 years ago, Danny Thomas was a young entertainer with a baby on the way. Work wasn't easy to come by, and his despair grew. He turned to St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of hopeless causes, and vowed: "Show me my way in life, and I will build you a shrine."

That prayer marked a pivotal moment. Soon after, he began finding work, eventually becoming one of the biggest stars of radio, film and television in his day. He was on Make Room for Daddy, later known as The Danny Thomas Show.

Danny used his fame to fulfill his vow and to change the lives of thousands of children and families. In 1962, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital opened in front of a crowd of 9,000 in Memphis, Tenn.

ANTLERS FOR ORPHANS

Introducing Antlers for Orphans, a campaign created to connect natural resources to meeting real needs across the world. All we need is your antlers.

We are doing something that has never been done before. We are using a natural resource, antlers, to benefit orphans in Uganda. Literally every antler shed in this nation is of value to a child. We are simply a channel to make that possible. And we need you. The children need you.

Based in Colorado, Antlers for Orphans is collecting any type of antler across the nation and selling them to support orphan care in rural Uganda. So far we have helped hundreds of children- the future leaders of Uganda. Think of how many children we could impact! Learn how to join us below.

RIDING ON INSULIN

The Mission of RIDING ON INSULIN is to instill resilience in those facing chronic diseases. RIDING ON INSULIN empowers, activates, and connects the global diabetes community through shared experience and action sports. In addition to establishing a comfortable environment, they strive to help families explore new passions, challenge T1D, and celebrate each other’s successes.

Founded by pro snowboarder Sean Busby in 2004,RIDING ON INSULIN was born out of Sean's desire to give back to kids who inspired him to keep snowboarding after his own complicated diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes. Diagnosed with T1D at age 19, Sean read stories online of kids and teens living with the disease through JDRF Children's Congress. He figured if they could do it (and know life no differently), then surely so could he. He wanted to give back to those kids for inspiring him.
